Description

Delicious Thai Basil Beef Rolls filled with ground beef and fresh vegetables, offering a vibrant culinary experience with each bite.


Ingredients

  • 8 rice paper wrappers
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cucumber, julienned
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • For dipping sauce:
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Drain excess fat and stir in garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes, simmering for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Soak a rice paper wrapper in warm water for about 10-15 seconds until soft.
  4. Assemble the roll with beef mixture, basil, cucumber, and carrot.
  5. Fold the sides in and roll tightly from the bottom up.
  6. Repeat until all filling and wrappers are used.
  7. Mix together soy sauce, lime juice, and chili paste for the dipping sauce.
  8. Serve on a platter with dipping sauce.

Notes

Make the filling ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to 3 days. Try air frying for extra crunch.
