Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Incorporate the egg and vanilla extract until fully mixed.
- Fold in the mashed strawberries gently.
- Mix the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt) in another bowl.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
