Juicy chicken breasts filled with savory stuffing, offering a delightful blend of flavors and textures, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup herb stuffing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Gravy for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Combine herb stuffing mix with chicken broth and let it soak for 5 minutes.
  4. Butterfly each chicken breast to create a pocket.
  5. Season the inside and outside of the chicken with salt and pepper.
  6. Stuff each chicken breast with the soaked stuffing mixture.
  7. Secure the stuffed breasts with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
  8. Place the chicken in a baking dish and drizzle with broth or gravy.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  10. Serve warm, topped with additional gravy if desired.

Notes

You can prepare the stuffing a day in advance. For air frying, cook at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
