Description

A delightful blend of sweet, tart strawberries and buttery crumble, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Pour in the melted butter and vanilla extract, mixing until the mixture is crumbly.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  5. Spread the chopped strawberries evenly over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the strawberries.
  7. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before cutting into bars.

Notes

Store leftover bars in an airtight container for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage. Customize with different fruits or nuts as desired.
