- 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- Combine the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Pour in the melted butter and vanilla extract, mixing until the mixture is crumbly.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Spread the chopped strawberries evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the strawberries.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before cutting into bars.
Notes
Store leftover bars in an airtight container for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage. Customize with different fruits or nuts as desired.
