Description

Deliciously tender chicken kabobs marinated in a flavorful blend of soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and garlic, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar in a mixing bowl until well combined.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring each piece is fully coated. For the best flavor, let them soak in this mixture for at least 30 minutes, or overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, packing them closely for a perfect grill.
  5. Grill the kabobs for about 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through to an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the kabobs before serving to elevate the dish’s appearance.

Notes

Prepare the marinade ahead of time for bolder flavor. You can substitute boneless thighs for chicken breast for a richer flavor.
