Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup ground pistachios
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp rose water
- Fresh flowers or berries for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare three 8-inch round cake pans by greasing and flouring them.
- Beat together the softened butter and sugar for about 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and ground pistachios in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk until combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Divide the batter evenly among the prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let them cool in the pans for about 10 minutes before turning them onto wire racks to cool completely.
- Whip together the cream cheese, heavy cream, and rose water until soft peaks form.
- Assemble your cake by placing one layer on a serving plate. Spread a generous layer of frosting in between each layer before adding the third.
- Frost the exterior of the cake and decorate with fresh flowers or berries for a beautiful finish.
- Slice into this dreamy creation and enjoy every sumptuous bite!
