Description

A delightful layer cake infused with aromatic rose water and crunchy pistachios, perfect for any celebration.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup ground pistachios
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp rose water
  • Fresh flowers or berries for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare three 8-inch round cake pans by greasing and flouring them.
  2. Beat together the softened butter and sugar for about 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and ground pistachios in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk until combined. Avoid overmixing.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let them cool in the pans for about 10 minutes before turning them onto wire racks to cool completely.
  8. Whip together the cream cheese, heavy cream, and rose water until soft peaks form.
  9. Assemble your cake by placing one layer on a serving plate. Spread a generous layer of frosting in between each layer before adding the third.
  10. Frost the exterior of the cake and decorate with fresh flowers or berries for a beautiful finish.

Notes
