Description

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Set up a breading station: Place flour in one dish, beaten eggs in another, and crushed pretzels in a third.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with pretzels.
  5. Arrange the coated chicken on a greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. While the chicken bakes, prepare the sauce by combining Dijon mustard, heavy cream, and shredded cheddar in a saucepan over medium heat.
  8. Serve the baked chicken drizzled with the creamy mustard cheddar sauce.
