Description

Delicious Peach Crumb Bars filled with juicy peaches and topped with a crunchy, buttery crumb topping, perfect for summer desserts.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, and lemon juice in a bowl. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. Mix the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl. Pour in the melted butter and stir until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the crumb mixture firmly into the greased pan for the crust.
  5. Spread the peach mixture evenly over the crust.
  6. Crumble the remaining crumb mixture over the peaches.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
  8. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or chilled with tea for a delightful treat. Add nuts or honey for extra flavor.
