Description

Delightful crispy rolls filled with rich feta cheese, drizzled with chili honey for a sweet and spicy finish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces feta cheese
  • 4 sheets phyllo dough or spring roll wrappers
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili honey
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or dill), to taste
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the feta cheese into small rectangles or squares, about 2 inches by 1 inch.
  3. Lay a sheet of phyllo dough or a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface and stack two sheets if using phyllo.
  4. Place a piece of feta in the center of the dough and fold over carefully.
  5. Seal the edges to hold in all the cheese.
  6. Brush the outside of the roll with olive oil and place seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until golden and crispy.
  8. Drizzle the warm rolls with chili honey before serving.
  9. Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Store in the fridge for up to 4 hours before baking. Can be frozen uncooked for up to a month.
