Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortillas for serving

Instructions

  1. Create the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, soy sauce, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
  2. Marinate the Steak: Add the flank steak to the marinade and soak for at least 30 minutes or ideally several hours.
  3. Prepare the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the Steak: Place the marinated steak on the grill for about 6-8 minutes on each side.
  5. Rest the Steak: Remove from grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  6. Grill the Vegetables: Grill sliced bell pepper and onion for 3-4 minutes.
  7. Slice and Serve: Slice the steak against the grain and serve with tortillas and grilled vegetables.

Notes

Marinate the steak overnight for better flavor. Ensure to slice against the grain for tenderness.
