Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until thoroughly incorporated.
- Carefully slice each pita in half to create pocket-style halves.
- Gently stuff each pita half with the meat mixture, being careful not to overstuff.
- Brush the outer sides of the stuffed pita with olive oil.
- Preheat a grill or non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the stuffed pitas for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm, ideally alongside tzatziki, tabbouleh, or hummus.
