Description

Delicious stuffed pitas filled with a flavorful meat mixture and spices, offering a delightful crunch. Perfect for gatherings or weeknight meals.


Ingredients

  • Fresh Pita Bread
  • Ground Meat (Beef or Lamb)
  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 Garlic Cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 cup Parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Olive Oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until thoroughly incorporated.
  2. Carefully slice each pita in half to create pocket-style halves.
  3. Gently stuff each pita half with the meat mixture, being careful not to overstuff.
  4. Brush the outer sides of the stuffed pita with olive oil.
  5. Preheat a grill or non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  6. Cook the stuffed pitas for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve warm, ideally alongside tzatziki, tabbouleh, or hummus.
