- 1 package mini cocktail sausages or small smoked sausages
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 fresh jalapeños, chopped
- 1 sheet puff pastry or crescent roll dough
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into strips 1-2 inches wide.
- Wrap each sausage with a strip of dough, sealing the ends tightly.
- Combine softened cream cheese with chopped jalapeños in a mixing bowl.
- Spoon the cream cheese mixture onto each sausage before wrapping.
- Place the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with melted butter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For added flavor, sprinkle garlic powder into the cream cheese mixture. Customize with different cheeses or sausages to suit your taste.
