- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter

- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside, saving some pasta water.
- Sauté the minced garlic in melted butter over medium heat for about one minute.
- Add the shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper, cooking until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, then stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Combine the cooked fettuccine with the sauce and shrimp, tossing to coat.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
For a lighter dish, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream. Add cooked vegetables for extra nutrition or spice it up with red pepper flakes.
