This vibrant dish combines grilled chicken with a zesty tequila-lime marinade, perfect for summer barbecues and family dinners.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Ranch dressing for brushing
Instructions
- Combine tequila, lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a medium mixing bowl to create the marinade.
- Place chicken breasts in a large Ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Ensure even coating and seal the bag, removing excess air. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade and discard any leftover marinade.
- Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes on one side without moving it.
- Flip the chicken and grill for another 6-7 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Brush ranch dressing on the chicken during the last few minutes of grilling.
- Remove from grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. You can also use chicken thighs for juiciness.
