Description

Indulge in the soft embrace of freshly baked cupcakes swirled with rich cinnamon and luscious cream cheese frosting.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a cupcake pan by lining it with paper liners.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and ground cinnamon in a medium bowl until well combined.
  3. Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then fold in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients alternately with milk, mixing until just combined.
  6. Mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl for the filling.
  7. Fill each cupcake liner halfway with batter, spoon in some cinnamon filling, and top with more batter until the liners are about 2/3 full, swirling the filling.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool completely before frosting with cream cheese frosting whipped from softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.

Notes

Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing.
