- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Cream Cheese, softened
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a cupcake pan by lining it with paper liners.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and ground cinnamon in a medium bowl until well combined.
- Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then fold in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients alternately with milk, mixing until just combined.
- Mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl for the filling.
- Fill each cupcake liner halfway with batter, spoon in some cinnamon filling, and top with more batter until the liners are about 2/3 full, swirling the filling.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely before frosting with cream cheese frosting whipped from softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
