- 3 cups apples, peeled and chopped
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the apples by peeling, coring, and chopping them into bite-sized pieces.
- Mix the butter and sugars in a large bowl until light and fluffy, adding eggs one at a time.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon in another bowl, then alternately add to the butter mixture with milk.
- Fold the apples into the batter until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Serve warm with powdered sugar or alongside a dollop of whipped cream.
