Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the blueberries by tossing them with ¼ cup of sugar and letting them sit for 10 minutes.
- Mix the dry ingredients in another bowl: flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients by mixing in milk, melted butter, and vanilla until just combined.
- Prepare the baking dish by pouring the batter into a greased 9×9 inch dish and layering the blueberries on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
