Description

Delicate cucumber sandwiches with herbed cream cheese, perfect for garden parties or afternoon tea.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Dill
  • 4 slices Sourdough Bread or Sandwich Bread
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the cucumber thoroughly and slice it thinly.
  2. Prepare the cream cheese mixture by blending softened cream cheese with chopped dill, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Layer the thin cucumber slices on half of the prepared bread slices, overlapping them slightly.
  5. Complete the sandwiches by placing the other slices of bread on top, cream cheese side down.
  6. Cut the sandwiches into quarters or triangles and serve on a platter.

Notes

Chill your cream cheese for easier mixing and use fresh cucumbers for the best crunch.
