- Crisp Romaine or iceberg lettuce leaves, washed and dried

- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Instructions
- Cook the bacon: Heat a skillet over medium heat, lay bacon in the pan, and cook until golden crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- Toast the bread: Toast the 3 slices of bread until golden brown and crispy using a toaster or pan-fry in butter.
- Prepare the spread: In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard.
- Slice the tomatoes: Cut the tomato into medium-thick slices and season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble the sandwich: Start with one toasted bread slice, layer with mayo, turkey, lettuce, and tomato. Add another bread slice.
- Build the next layer: Spread mayo on the second slice, add ham (if using), bacon, cheese, and top with the last slice of bread.
- Secure and slice: Use picks to hold the layers and cut diagonally into quarters.
