Description

Indulge in a heaping mound of crispy fries topped with melted cheese, caramelized onions, and tangy Thousand Island dressing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag Frozen French Fries
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 large Onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • ½ cup Thousand Island Dressing
  • Pickles (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the package instructions for the frozen French fries. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the fries in a single layer, then bake until golden and crispy.
  3. While the fries bake, melt butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the sliced onions and sauté until caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Once the fries are done, transfer them to a large serving platter.
  6. Sprinkle the fries generously with melted cheddar cheese.
  7. Top with caramelized onions and drizzle with Thousand Island dressing.
  8. Add pickles if desired and season with salt and pepper.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy your crispy delight!

Notes

For more heat, add jalapeños. Make-ahead: Caramelized onions can be prepared a day in advance. Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet for perfect crispiness.
