Ingredients
- Tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- Bacon
- Parmesan Cheese (grated)
- Heavy Cream
- Garlic (minced)
- Black Pepper (freshly cracked)

- Prepare the bacon: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add bacon and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.
- Sauté the garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about one minute.
- Add the cream: Pour in heavy cream, stirring while bringing to a gentle simmer.
- Incorporate the Parmesan: Gradually mix in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined into a creamy sauce.
- Mix in the tortellini: Gently toss the cooked tortellini with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
- Season and garnish: Crack black pepper to taste and garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding peas or sautéed mushrooms. Make-ahead tips include preparing the bacon and sauce a few hours prior to serving.
