Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and other preferred toppings

Instructions

  1. Caramelize the onions: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and salt; stir occasionally until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Prepare the patties: Season ground beef with salt and pepper, then form into four patties with a slight indentation in the center.
