Description

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt a generous pat of butter.
  3. Dip each slice of brioche into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated, then let excess drip off.
  4. Place the coated brioche slices in the skillet, cooking until golden brown on the first side, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Flip the slices using a spatula, adding more butter if needed, and cook the other side until golden, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve warm, drizzled with maple syrup and dusted with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

You can prepare the egg mixture the night before and store it in an airtight container. For baking, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake dipped French toast on a lined baking sheet for about 15 minutes.
