Description

A warm and comforting bread pudding featuring rich vanilla and cinnamon flavors, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups of cubed bread (stale baguette, brioche, or challah)
  • 2 cups of whole milk
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  • Butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease your baking dish with butter.
  2. Mix together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well blended.
  3. Add the cubed bread to the custard mixture and gently stir to coat.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and allow it to absorb for a few moments.
  5. Bake for about 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife comes out clean.
  6. Cool for a few moments before serving warm, optionally with whipped cream or caramel sauce.

Notes
