BBQ Baked Beans with Bacon is a comforting and hearty dish that combines sweet and savory flavors with a delightful contrast of textures, perfect as a side for summer cookouts or cozy family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (28 ounces each) baked beans
  • 6 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the baked beans, crumbled bacon, chopped onion, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until heated through.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

You can prepare the bean mixture a day in advance, refrigerate and bake just before serving. For spiciness, consider adding jalapeños or hot sauce.
