Description

This delicious baked salmon is complemented by a creamy avocado lime sauce, creating a vibrant dish that’s both indulgent and healthful.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 fresh lime (juice and zest)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly cracked pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down.
  4. Drizzle each fillet with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake for approximately 12-15 minutes until the salmon easily flakes with a fork.
  6. While the salmon is baking, combine the avocado, lime juice, lime zest, garlic, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  7. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  8. Once the salmon is baked, spoon the avocado lime sauce over each fillet and serve.

Notes

For make-ahead options, prepare the avocado lime sauce a few hours in advance and store in an airtight container.
