Description

Ingredients

  • Italian bread or hoagie rolls
  • Sliced salami
  • Sliced pepperoni
  • Sliced ham
  • Sliced provolone cheese
  • Sliced mozzarella cheese
  • Italian seasoning
  • Olive oil
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato slices
  • Red onion slices
  • Peperoncini (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the Italian bread or hoagie rolls in half lengthwise.
  3. Layer the salami, pepperoni, and ham on the bottom halves.
  4. Add provolone and mozzarella cheese on top of the meats.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  6. Place sandwich halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese melts and bread is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and layer with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and optional pepperoncini.
  9. Top with the other half of the bread, cut into portions, and serve warm.

Notes

For make-ahead sandwiches, assemble and wrap in foil before refrigerating. Adjust baking time if coming from the fridge. Air fryer option available for a crispy result.
