Description

A vibrant cocktail blending Aperol and tequila for a refreshing twist on a classic margarita.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz Aperol
  • 1 oz tequila
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • Ice
  • Lime wedge or orange slice for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, pour in 2 oz of Aperol, followed by 1 oz of tequila and 1 oz of freshly squeezed lime juice. Add 1 oz of simple syrup next.
  2. Add Ice: Pack the shaker with ice, filling it almost to the top.
  3. Shake It Up: Seal the shaker tightly and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  4. Strain and Serve: Take a chilled glass filled with fresh ice and strain the mixture into it.
  5. Garnish and Enjoy: Finish with a lime wedge or an orange slice perched on the rim.

Notes

Make-ahead: Prepare simple syrup days in advance. Avoid bottled lime juice for best flavor.
