Description

A vibrant Summer Wrap filled with creamy hummus, fresh vegetables, and protein, embodying the essence of healthy eating without compromising on flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large tortilla (whole wheat or spinach)
  • 1/2 cup cooked protein (chicken, turkey, or tofu)
  • 1/4 cup hummus or your favorite spread
  • 1/2 cup mixed greens or spinach
  • 1/4 cup sliced cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Start with a large tortilla or wrap. Lay it flat on a clean surface.
  2. Spread a layer of hummus or your favorite spread over the tortilla.
  3. Add the mixed greens or spinach onto the wrap.
  4. Layer the cooked protein on top of the greens.
  5. Add the sliced cucumbers, shredded carrots, and cherry tomatoes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Roll the wrap tightly from one end, tucking in the sides as you go.
  8. Slice in half and serve immediately or wrap in foil for later enjoyment.

Notes

For optimal freshness, store the wrap in the fridge wrapped tightly in foil or parchment paper. Best enjoyed the same day.
