Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1/2 cup milk, warmed
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and yeast. Whisk to blend.
- In a saucepan, warm the milk and butter, then mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until combined. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes.
- Cover and let rise in a warm spot for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle about 12 by 18 inches.
- Spread cream cheese on the dough, sprinkle with cinnamon, and top with sliced strawberries.
- Roll the dough tightly from one long side to form a log and cut into 12 equal rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool and drizzle with icing (powdered sugar mixed with milk).
Notes
Feel free to customize with other berries or add lemon zest for a zesty twist.
