Description

Deliciously sticky and crispy chicken thighs coated in a sweet chili glaze, perfect for dinner gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel.
  3. Season the chicken with avocado oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Air fry the chicken skin side down for 15 minutes.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and oyster sauce to make the glaze.
  6. Baste the chicken with the glaze multiple times during cooking.
  7. Continue air frying for an additional 10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. For an extra crispy finish, broil the chicken for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Rest the chicken for a few minutes before serving.
  10. Serve over jasmine rice or with your favorite steamed vegetables.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free soy sauce and consider skinless thighs. Marinate overnight for deeper flavor.
