- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ cup sweet chili sauce
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the chicken by patting the thighs dry with a paper towel.
- Season the chicken with avocado oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, massaging the seasoning into the meat.
- Place the chicken thighs skin side down in the air fryer basket, setting the timer for 15 minutes.
- Combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and oyster sauce in a separate bowl to create the sticky glaze.
- Gently flip the chicken after 15 minutes, baste with sticky glaze, and return to air fryer for another 10 minutes.
- Check for doneness, ensuring internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Marinate the chicken thighs the night before for enhanced flavor. Can be baked at 400°F (200°C) for 35-40 minutes if no air fryer is available.
