Description

Deliciously crispy and flavorful, these Sticky Sweet Chili Chicken Thighs are perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 8 bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the chicken by patting the thighs dry with a paper towel.
  3. Season the chicken with avocado oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, massaging the seasoning into the meat.
  4. Place the chicken thighs skin side down in the air fryer basket, setting the timer for 15 minutes.
  5. Combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and oyster sauce in a separate bowl to create the sticky glaze.
  6. Gently flip the chicken after 15 minutes, baste with sticky glaze, and return to air fryer for another 10 minutes.
  7. Check for doneness, ensuring internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Remove chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Marinate the chicken thighs the night before for enhanced flavor. Can be baked at 400°F (200°C) for 35-40 minutes if no air fryer is available.
