- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes to create the sauce.
- Coat the chicken pieces in cornstarch in a separate bowl.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the coated chicken and sauté for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and simmer for 1-2 minutes until thickened.
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and toss with a bit of oil.
- Add the noodles to the skillet and combine everything until coated in sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Make ahead by preparing chicken and sauce the night before. Use an air fryer for crispy chicken if desired.
