Description

A delightful dish featuring tender chicken, creamy noodles, and a sticky garlic sauce that combines sweet and savory flavors, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, thinly sliced
  • 12 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 8 oz noodles (egg noodles, udon, or rice noodles)
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • Other vegetables as desired (snap peas, spinach, or bok choy)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 12 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch or arrowroot
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup water or chicken broth
  • Sesame seeds, chopped scallions, and chili flakes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep Ingredients: Slice chicken and vegetables. Cook noodles according to package instructions; drain and keep warm.
  2. Marinate Chicken: In a bowl, combine sliced chicken with soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic. Marinate for 15–30 minutes.
  3. Make Sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, cornstarch, and water or broth in a bowl.
  4. Cook Chicken: Heat oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Sear marinated chicken for 4–5 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  5. Stir-Fry Vegetables: In the same skillet, sauté vegetables for 2–3 minutes until crisp-tender.
  6. Combine Noodles & Sauce: Return chicken to the pan, add cooked noodles, and pour in the sauce. Toss everything to coat and cook for an additional 1–2 minutes.
  7. Serve: Plate noodles and garnish with sesame seeds, chopped scallions, and a pinch of chili flakes. Enjoy!
