- 2 ounces of chorizo, cooked and crumbled
- 2 slices of cheese (sharp cheddar or pepper jack)
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- Optional: hot sauce or jalapeños
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
- Layer the chorizo and cheese on the bread.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Cook until golden and cheese melts, flipping halfway through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
