Description

Delicious Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars that combine the creamy richness of peanut butter with hearty oats, making them a perfect snack or breakfast option.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup flour (oat flour or all-purpose)
  • Optional: chocolate chips or nuts for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix together the peanut butter, rolled oats, brown sugar, honey (or maple syrup), salt, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until combined into a thick, sticky dough.
  3. Stir in the flour gradually until well-combined.
  4. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  5. If using, sprinkle chocolate chips or chopped nuts on top and press them into the dough.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center feels set.
  7. Allow to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
