- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup flour (oat flour or all-purpose)
- Optional: chocolate chips or nuts for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix together the peanut butter, rolled oats, brown sugar, honey (or maple syrup), salt, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until combined into a thick, sticky dough.
- Stir in the flour gradually until well-combined.
- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- If using, sprinkle chocolate chips or chopped nuts on top and press them into the dough.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center feels set.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
