- 1/2 cup grape or strawberry jelly
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your 9×9-inch baking pan to ensure easy removal.
- Mix together the creamy peanut butter and softened butter in a large bowl.
- Add the brown sugar and granulated sugar, mixing until blended.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Spread half of the batter into the greased baking pan.
- Spoon the jelly over the batter evenly.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining batter over the jelly layer.
- Sprinkle chopped peanuts on top if desired.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool in the pan before slicing into bars.
