Description

A creamy, comforting dish featuring bowtie pasta, tender chicken, and a luscious garlic butter sauce, topped with melted mozzarella cheese.

  • 2 cups bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the diced chicken to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and shredded mozzarella to the skillet, stirring until the cheese melts and clings to the pasta.

You can prepare the chicken and sauce a day ahead to save time. Consider adding sautéed mushrooms or spinach for added nutrition.
