Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour your loaf pan.
- Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and poppy seeds in a large bowl.
- Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Beat the eggs into the butter mixture one at a time.
- Stir in the sour cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until just combined.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing gently.
- Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
