- 6 slices thick-cut bacon
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper and arrange them in the baking dish.
- In a heavy skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble over the chicken.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper.
- Drizzle the sauce over the chicken and bacon.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Allow chicken to come to room temperature before cooking for even results. Consider using an air fryer for a quicker alternative.
