Scale
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a shallow bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, and a pinch of salt.
- Marinate the Pork Chops: Coat the pork chops in the marinade, seal, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook the Pork Chops: Preheat grill to medium-high and cook for 4-6 minutes per side or pan-sear in a skillet for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Make the Dijon Mustard Cream Sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour, then gradually add milk and heavy cream while whisking until thickened.

Notes
For extra crunch, consider searing your pork chops in a mix of butter and bacon drippings. Always let your meat rest for a few minutes before slicing.
