Description

Crispy fries topped with a creamy cheese sauce, seasoned perfectly for a deliciously indulgent snack.


Ingredients

  • 26 ounces frozen French fries
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 2 teaspoons ranch seasoning powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder (divided)
  • 8 ounces white cheddar cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven or air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Spread the frozen fries in a single layer on a baking sheet or in the air fryer basket.
  3. Bake according to the package instructions until crispy and golden.
  4. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat and whisk in the flour, cooking for about 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in the milk gradually, whisking continuously until thickened (about 5 minutes).
  6. Add the salt, white pepper, ranch seasoning, and half of the cayenne powder.
  7. Lower the heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  8. Remove the fries from the oven or air fryer and pour the cheese sauce over them.
  9. Serve immediately for best taste.
