Description

A delicious and easy-to-make Italian Crescent Casserole that combines flaky crescent rolls with savory Italian flavors.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of crescent roll dough
  • 1 pound ground Italian sausage
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground Italian sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine and heat through.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and lay it in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a crust.
  5. Spread the sausage mixture evenly over the crescent roll crust.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top of the sausage mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
