Description

A warm, comforting banana cobbler topped with a crunchy streusel, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium Ripe Bananas
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Self-Rising Flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Oats (Old-Fashioned)
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1 teaspoon Banana Extract (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until creamy.
  3. Combine the mashed bananas, granulated sugar, milk, and softened butter and whisk until smooth.
  4. Mix the self-rising flour and banana extract in another bowl, then fold into the wet mixture gently.
  5. Stir together the light brown sugar, oats, and chopped pecans in another bowl.
  6. Pour the banana mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and evenly distribute the streusel topping over it.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat.
