- 8 oz Feta Cheese
- 2 tbsp Dill
- 2 tbsp Mint
- 1 tbsp Lemon Zest
- 8 sheets Phyllo Pastry
- 4 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 1 tbsp Chili Flakes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, crumble the feta cheese and combine it with the dill, mint, and lemon zest. Mix well.
- Lay down one sheet of phyllo pastry on a clean surface and brush lightly with olive oil. Layer 4 sheets, brushing oil between them.
- Place a spoonful of the feta mixture along one edge of the layered phyllo and roll tightly into a cigar shape.
- Place the roll on a lined baking sheet and brush the top with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
- While baking, heat honey in a small saucepan over low heat and stir in chili flakes to infuse the sweetness.
- Drizzle the warm rolls with the chili honey magic and serve hot.
Notes
Keep phyllo pastry covered with a damp cloth to prevent drying out. You can make these rolls ahead and freeze them before baking.
