Description

Sizzling hot fries smothered in cheese, caramelized onions, and a mouthwatering special sauce, bringing comfort food to a new level.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • ½ tbsp rice vinegar (or white vinegar)
  • 2 tbsp sweet relish
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tbsp chili flakes (optional)
  • ½ bag frozen fries
  • Cheddar cheese or American cheese
  • 2 onions (diced)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt butter and oil over medium heat. Add diced onions and ½ tsp salt, stirring gently. Cook for 15-20 minutes to caramelize.
  2. Meanwhile, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, rice vinegar, sweet relish, sugar, and chili flakes in a mixing bowl for the special sauce.
  3. Prepare fries according to package instructions until crispy.
  4. Once fries are cooked, sprinkle cheese over them while hot to melt.
  5. Assemble the fries on a platter, layering with caramelized onions and drizzling the special sauce on top. Serve immediately.

Notes

Customize with toppings like jalapeños or crumbled bacon. Sauté onions slowly for the best flavor.
