- 8 slices thick-cut beef bacon

- Pinch flaky sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Hot Honey (Optional): Combine ½ cup honey, 1-2 tbsp red pepper flakes, and ½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar in a saucepan. Heat gently for 5-7 minutes; let steep.
- Cook Beef Bacon: Cook until crispy, either stovetop or bake. Drain and break into pieces.
- Prepare Apple and Cheese: Slice the apple and grate the cheddar cheese.
- Assemble Sandwiches: Butter one side of each bread slice. Layer ingredients on unbuttered sides, drizzle with hot honey, and top with remaining bread.
- Grill Sandwiches: Cook in a preheated skillet over medium-low heat for 4-6 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Finish and Serve: Allow to rest before slicing; serve warm.
