A warm and flavorful dish featuring tender beef, vibrant vegetables, and rich hoisin sauce over noodles.

- 1/2 lb beef sirloin or flank steak
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup snap peas
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 8 oz rice or lo mein noodles
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Thinly slice the beef against the grain. Marinate with hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch, honey or brown sugar, and red pepper flakes for 15 minutes.
- Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a large pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Sauté garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add marinated beef to the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Stir in red bell pepper, snap peas, and green onions. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
- Add cooked noodles, sesame seeds, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and water. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
Marinating the beef in advance enhances flavor. Customize with preferred vegetables or add nuts for extra crunch.
