Description

A warm and flavorful dish featuring tender beef, vibrant vegetables, and rich hoisin sauce over noodles.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 lb beef sirloin or flank steak
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 8 oz rice or lo mein noodles
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the beef against the grain. Marinate with hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch, honey or brown sugar, and red pepper flakes for 15 minutes.
  2. Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a large pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Sauté garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add marinated beef to the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  5. Stir in red bell pepper, snap peas, and green onions. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add cooked noodles, sesame seeds, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and water. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Marinating the beef in advance enhances flavor. Customize with preferred vegetables or add nuts for extra crunch.
