Description

Indulge in these rich, fudgy Greek Yogurt Brownies that blend decadent chocolate flavor with wholesome Greek yogurt for a slightly healthier treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. Combine the Greek yogurt and sugar in a large mixing bowl, whisking until smooth.
  3. Crack in the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, folding gently until just combined.
  7. If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading evenly.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing into squares.

Notes

These brownies can also be made in an air fryer at 320°F (160°C) for 15-20 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream or fresh berries for an enhanced experience.
