Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat, then let cool slightly.
- Stir in the granulated sugar until combined, then add eggs one at a time, whisking gently, and finish with the vanilla extract.
- Gradually beat in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Stir in the brewed coffee to unify flavors.
- Pour the batter into the baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- For frosting, mix powdered sugar, coffee, and heavy cream until smooth.
- Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies and cut into squares.
